Arato #220 grit. Sharpening stone
A great rough stone that bites fast. Works well as a starting stone for re-beveling a very dull blade, thinning or repairing small breaks. The stone must be soaked in about eh than approx. 20 minutes, but longer/permanent ä soaking works better.
The stone was made by Imanishi from Kyoto, known for its quality.
