This knife is made in Sanjo, western Japan, known for its blacksmithing . The blade of the knife is made of Shirogami2 carbon steel, which retains its sharpness very well . The blade has 6-layer cheeks (Suminagashi) made of carbon steel. Thanks to the thin chamfering of the blade, the knife cuts really effortlessly. A knife in a traditional style with an emphasis on vegetables.
