Sakai Kikumori Kikuzuki Uzu Sakimaru Takohiki 300mm - Japanese Kitchen Knife

T um eh Sakimaru takohiki is made from Aogami1 carbon steel to eat eh. Aogami1 carbon steel with stylish Suminagashi(damascus) iron cheeks. The handle of the knife is made of Magnolia wood, sec ä front hela from Buffalo horn. Sakai is led by k sedated beer parents have created this top-quality and incredibly beautiful sec ä a balanced whole. Literally a great choice for those who value quality.

This knife is forged by Tanaka Hamono (田中). Tanaka san forging sec ä l mom handling with Aogami1 steel is well known really good ä, when ter ax sharpenability sec ä ter stuttering is correct.

The knife has a thin and low-style kireha (blade-road/lape), which allows the knife to cut as well as the heavier Yanagiba. The heel is also polished, and the back of the blade is elegantly faceted. This is the pinnacle of single-sided (kataba) knives.

The knife comes with a steel guard made of Magnolia, or Saya, for storage. Remember that a wet blade should never be put in the saya. If the knife is stored unused for a longer period of time, we recommend that you also protect the blade with Tsubaki oil.
