Murata 165mm Funayuki is a good quality but affordable knife with a blade made of Aogami1 carbon steel eh.

Funayuki(舟行) is in a way Gyuto and Santoku's v the smart model that fishermen k ate originally for catching small fish, quality testing etc ä for cooking on boats eh than. The knife is intended as a general knife for meat, vegetables and fruit.

Murata's knives are sharpened to a very sharp point and hardened to a hardness of 61-63HRC . Due to its hardness, the blade retains its sharpness for a very long time.
